Goodbye garden room

The past few weekends we have been getting our little Mono house ready for rent. I had painted the girl's room like a garden with fairies and such, but, we have to say goodbye to the fairy room. Maybe some of them will come live in our new house.

9 months old!

Regina is 9 months old today! She is already crawling and getting into things. She also has a tooth. It came in few days after we got back from Utah. Wow! We sure have cutie!

Fun in the Snow

There is snow! We love Erda because there are four wheelers and tubes! Did we mention there is snow?!

Together Time

Our trip to Utah was fast and furious with Opa leaving so quickly. However, our short time together was very therapeutic. It was great to see everyone.

Christmas Day

I know Christmas is over, but, we had a great time as a family. Derek started a tradition this year that he had as a child. We hung a sheet to cover the entrance of the living room,(where Santa leaves his presents). Then each child gets to line up at the sheet, from youngest to oldest, anticipating his turn to enter the living room to find his beloved gift. They were reeling with excitement. Merry Christmas!

Candy Caned

One morning we awoke to find candy canes everywhere! I have a feeling some of the youth in our church did it. The youth have been candy caning members of our ward for quite some time now. However, this year we went caroling. I think some of the youth were feeling the tradition needed to stay. Boy, we feel special!

Sinterklaas

On the evening of December 4th, the children left their shoes out for Sinterklaas . He likes to leave them new pajamas and a small candy. Danke Sinterklaas! (Or as the kids say, Danke Santaklasha!)
