Rest In Peace, Neville Hardbottom....

Our beloved tortoise died. Poor Ethan came running in this morning telling me Neville won't eat his food, and he's not moving. I went out to investigate, and sure enough, he has left this world. We have thoroughly enjoyed our time with him. We felt he was the cutest tortoise you'd ever see. Farewell Neville, we will miss you....

Happy Birthday Liliaan!

Happy Birthday Liliaan! I hope you had an awesome day! One of my favorite memories of you was when you were a baby. You used to sit in a little chair that hooked to the table. When I would sit by you at dinner, I would whisper in your ear a bunch of baby talk. Then you would turn to me and whisper back in some garbled language you had. It was so fun! Now here you are a beautiful woman with a great husband and a cute little baby. I'm so glad I was able to be pregnant the same time you were. It was fun talking with you about all the adventures of becoming a mother. You are awesome! Love ya'!

4th of July

We had a great 4th of July. Our church has a great flag raising program in the morning. They raise the flag, have a military speaker, and a band to accompany a patriotic sing-a-long. Afterwards they have doughnuts or bagels and fruit. I played in the band this year! After that, we hung out with our friends. They have a trampoline with a hose spraying onto it. I forgot my camera, so, I didn't get pictures. Then we went to a potluck at our church. Following dinner, we went to our house with a bunch of other families and let off a whole bunch of fireworks. We had quite a few illegal fireworks going off in our neighborhood, so, we didn't feel like we had to go to the fairgrounds to see any big fireworks. Anyway, I'm grateful for our country and all the blessings we have here. Living in a military town has made me see how families, of those in the military, have to sacrifice having their loved ones gone. Hats off to you all.

To be continued Tuesday- June Part 2!

Now for the really exciting highlights of June! We went to Utah on account of my sister getting married! Before the wedding we had some fun things occur. Kaya had her first birthday! We celebrated at the splash park.

I was able to be in the temple with my sister when she went through for the first time.

Me and all my sisters got pedicures before the wedding. This was my very first one!

My sister was married in the Bountiful Temple for time and all eternity! We celebrated at La Caille! Great times! I'm so happy for you Lena Bean!

Memory Lane Monday- June Part 1!

We're back! June was fast and furious, so, here are some highlights! Last Day of School/Joyschool and Kindergarten graduation.

Father's Day was great! We love you Daddy! We made him breakfast and a candy gram.

Our 87' camry didn't pass the smog test. They gave us 1,000 bucks to squish it. We only paid 1,000 for it anyway, so, we squished this one and got another camry!

Another great thing that happened the first part of June is that Ethan started riding his bike without training wheels. For any of you that really know Ethan, that's a big deal! Way to go bud!

May 26th- Memorial Holiday

-Derek replaced all of our light switches and electrical outlets. No more holes!
-I went to a Mary Kay facial night at my friends house. Oooh, my skin is so soft!

May 28th- It's already the middle of the week!

-Had music time in Olivia's class. We practiced our graduation songs, and sang some silly ones too!

-Mutual Night- Deacons were in charge, they had an excellent bike activity! They made a course to ride through, and had two other stations: maintenance and flat tires. Very fun!
