Book tag

So, Kathryn has tagged me. She wants to know what I'm reading on page 250 or something, line 5. Well, I'm not that far in my book, so, I'll just share where I am. I am reading J. M. Barrie's Peter Pan. This is at the top of page 50:
Sometimes it was dark and sometimes light, and now they were very cold and agein too warm. Did they really feel hungry at times, or were they merely pretending, because Peter had such a jolly new way of feeding them? His way was to pursue birds who had food in their mouths suitable for humans and snatch it from them; then the birds would follow and snatch it back; and they would all go chasing each other gaily for miles, parting at last with mutual expressions of good-will. But Wendy noticed with gentle concern that Peter did not seem to know that this was rather an odd way of getting your bread and butter, nor even that there are other ways.

"What did they say?!" Wednesday
It was about 2 or 3 am Tuesday morning, when I heard, "Mom!, Mom!, Mom!..." It was Phoebe screaming at me. So, I got out of bed and went to see what was wrong. When I went into her room she was laying on her side holding very still, with a look of terror on her face. I asked her what was wrong and she said," There are flies in my bum and I can't get them out!" Now, that early in the morning, I wasn't too happy to be awake, so I j
ust told her she probably just had a little itch, just give it a little scratch and go back to sleep. After much conversation about no flies in her bottom she believed me and went back to sleep. However, thinking about it now gives me cause to bust a gut!

Tidbits about us Tuesday
Today's tidbits of information are about....Ethan and Me!

-Ethan was given a certificate in the shape of an apple for being a "Brave and spunky dancer!" Apparently Mrs. K, (Ethan's teacher for math) wanted to show the class a dance and needed someone to volunteer to be her partner. Ethan was the only boy to volunteer.
-I love frogs and toads! I had Herpetology(no, it isn't the study of sexual diseases; it's the study of reptiles and amphibians) in college. Well, on the night of the 12th, I found a Western Toad in front of our house. I think he is such a cool little guy. Maybe I'll create some ponds in our yard. Then mabey he'll vacation here.:)

Memory Lane Monday
I know St. Patrick's Day wasn't that long ago, but, it seems like it was. Lucky the Leprechaun visited our house that day. He brought Lucky Charms cereal, filled our pot with "gold", changed our milk green, and spread shamrocks all around! The kids had fun looking at what he'd done to our house that day. I think Gina makes a pretty cute leprchaun:)

Spiritual Sunday
I went to a Women's Conference this weekend. The theme was "The Lord is my Shepherd; I Shall Not Want". One of the workshops was on prayer. Here is a quote I got from this workshop that I have heard before, but, was a great reminder for me at this time. It comes from the Bible Dictionary in the LDS King James version of the Bible: As soon as we learn the true relationship in which we stand toward God (namely, God is our Father, and we are his children), then at once prayer becomes natural and instinctive on our part. Many of the so-called difficulties about prayer arise from forgetting this relationship.
