Happy New Year!

After an eight month blog hibernation, we are back! We had a great Christmas and New Year's holiday. Here is what happened this past week:

Monday: Snow Day! The kids were supposed to start school, but, it snowed so much on Sunday and Monday that school was cancelled! Only in California, right? We don't mind. The kids played to their hearts content.

Tuesday: Back to the regular routines of school and work.

Wednesday: Piano lessons started again! Yeah!

Thursday: Pack meeting for the family.

Friday: Game night with friends! Whoo hoo!

It's been a great week. Over the holidays, my Husband and my Dad installed in my kitchen a new sliding glass door and a window! Our outlook is much brighter and it is very nice to watch the kids in the back yard. Thanks so much!

It's a Pink, Pink, Pink Birthday!

My little baby is 3! She said she wanted a pink cake, with pink frosting, and pink everything! Obviously pink is her favorite color. Happy Birthday Princess!

Happy New Year! We had a great time celebrating Christmas and ringing in the New Year. I'm looking forward to all the things my family and I will learn this year.

Sinterklaas

On the 4th of December we leave our shoes under the tree for Sinterklass to fill. We found chocoladeletter's the next day! Whoo hoo! He also brought the kids some winter p.j's. Danke Sinterklaas!

Holiday Recital

Last week Ethan had his holiday piano recital. He is doing so well! I love hearing him practice.

Holiday Train

Last week my brother came down to help us work on projects around the house. He was able to go with us on a train ride! Of course Santa was there too!
